GOAT MILK REVOLUTION
Goat Milk Revolution is a dairy goat farm and educational outreach center in Street, Maryland.
But, more than that, we are a son’s dream, a continuing legacy, and a hub for community-building and personal growth.
Farm life teaches us a lot about life in general – the seasons of our lives, the importance of nature and the outdoors on our health and wellbeing, and that in order to thrive we need to look after one another.
At Goat Milk Revolution, our goal is to educate, connect, and inspire others towards a more thoughtful, sustainable, and compassionate way of living. Will you join the revolution?
“We hope to inspire freedom through agriculture.”

Our Story
Shortly after the pandemic shut down began in March of 2020, I asked my six-year-old son what his one wish for his childhood would be. To my surprise, he said, “farm animals” and Goat Milk Revolution was born! We began our farm with Nigerian Dwarf goats due to their tasty milk with medicinal properties and their friendly personalities.
In June of 2021, I purchased Little Brook Farm, my parent’s property where they once raised sheep and had lived since 1967. Currently, the farm is in a state of transition as we work to fix up the barn my father built (and that my mother designed), add fencing, incorporate out buildings and more! In an era where thousands of American family farms are lost each month, I feel blessed that this farm has stayed in our family … and to think, it all began with a wish!
It was always my dream to homeschool my children, and in an odd twist of fate the pandemic made that dream a reality! I’ve seen first-hand with my own son the benefits of spending time outside and with animals. I’m grateful to connect with others who share our vison of a more sustainable way of living and who also find joy and healing in spending time with animals.

About Me
My background in teaching is extensive and spans 25 years. I’ve taught middle school and high school English, as well as a variety of subjects on the college level, including journalism, writing, public speaking, and visual and performing arts. I’ve taught figure skating to all ages, and I homeschooled my daughter for 5th grade and my son for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade.

About Little Brook Farm
In the spring of 1967, my parents – Bill and Evelyn – moved from East Baltimore to a 16-acre property in northern Maryland. The main room of their house had been a one-room log cabin in the mid-1800’s, and the rest of the house was constructed in 1920. They called the property Little Brook Farm. With no background in farming, my parents learned how to raise sheep and chickens from books borrowed from the library. My father built their barn using my mother’s designs and their hobby farm became the home to a rotating menagerie of animals. My father also taught workshops in food foraging and led guided tours of the plant life on Little Brook Farm, highlighting the medicinal value of many of the plants that grew naturally on the property. Our goal is to carry on their legacy.
